Origin London

Origin Interactive Installation

Alinah Azadeh and Willow Winston created a live interactive textile installation at London's recent Origin. It began empty and over the show's two weeks, it filled up by people writing messages on ribbons and weaving them through the wire structure of the dome.

Recent Pieces

I've been up in London recently and had a lovely time. Seeing friends, seeing Origin and seeing the Thames. It was great to be part of Origin and it went so well. It was brilliant to see what other designer's have been making, and I love so many Japanese makers, especially Kaori Tatebayashi. Check out her website at www.kaoriceramics.com.

Some recent work, which will hopefully get onto Etsy soon.....

When I finally get mt etsy up, this will be the sort of work available.

Wouldn't it be nice not to have to worry about things like, rent, mortgages, bills etc etc, and just have a lovely studio to be as creative as possible and make and make and make....

Dream dream dream

My Babies, they like a bit of sewing too !

In on a Friday night

Would be nice to be out at a lovely restaurant with a big glass of wine. But instead I'm on the sofa with Joey (the cat) and watching an old Australian TV show. Hmmm Stydney Harbour - very homesick...

My Handbags

A NEW YEAR

January is already over and I’m already thinking of all the things I’ve not got onto. At the moment it’s all ‘portfolio’, ‘portfolio’, ‘portfolio’, because it is a new year with new options. And my stars are telling me ‘I’m entering a thrilling time’, if only I can hold them to it.

My first ever blog and I’m looking forward to diving in, sharing and being creative.
